ELSIS TS won the tender „Modernization and maintenance services for the simulator of Panevėžys training base” published by Verslo aptarnavimo centras UAB and on 9 July this year signed a contract for works and services with Energy Distribution Operator AB (ESO).

ESO’s main functions are: guaranteeing electricity and gas supply, introducing electricity and gas, operating, maintaining, managing and developing electricity and gas distribution networks, and ensuring their safety and reliability. ESO serves more than 1.6 million customers throughout Lithuania.

The contract will involve the modernisation of the simulator at ESO’s Panevėžys training base, which will include the upgrade, calibration and testing of the simulator’s tele-management and automation system (TAS), as well as the provision of technical support and software upgrade services for a period of three years. The project will contribute to the qualification of ESO staff as well as to ensuring safety in gas distribution networks.

The contract will be completed by 9 July 2022.
